Medical Weight Loss
Designed Around Your Life
Living in Japan means long hours, late-night ramen, business dinners, and jet lag. We build your treatment plan around that reality — not around a textbook patient who goes to bed at 10 pm and meal-preps on Sundays.
There is no single “best” weight loss medication. There is only the right one for you — your body, your schedule, your eating habits, and your life in Tokyo.
Most people struggle with weight for different reasons. Some deal with constant hunger. Others eat reasonable portions but gain weight from slow metabolism, insulin resistance, stress eating, fluid retention, or hormonal shifts. Many of our international patients add jet lag, irregular work hours, and frequent restaurant meals into the mix.
That is why we take time during your consultation to understand your full picture — before recommending anything. The goal is treatment you can actually sustain in the life you actually live.

“I eat out constantly — izakaya, ramen, Italian.”

“I feel bloated and puffy.”
→ Lusefi or Spironolactone
“I want the strongest results possible.”
→ Combination therapy, e.g. Zepbound + Metformin + Acarbose
These are starting points, not prescriptions. Your doctor will tailor the plan in your consultation.
Treatment Options
Our Weight Loss Medications
All prices listed are self-pay (自由診療). A prescription from our doctor is required.
Injectable Treatments
Zepbound
Tirzepatide · GLP-1 + GIP · Once Weekly
One of the most powerful weight loss medications available today. Tirzepatide activates both GLP-1 and GIP receptors simultaneously, reducing appetite, extending fullness, and improving how the body processes fat. Clinical trials showed significantly greater weight loss than older GLP-1 medications.
Best for: Strong or constant appetite · Large portion sizes · Patients who want the fastest possible results · Previous GLP-1 users who want to step up
Pricing
Mounjaro
Tirzepatide · GLP-1 + GIP · Once Weekly
Mounjaro contains the same active ingredient as Zepbound (tirzepatide) and is equally effective for appetite suppression and fat loss. It is a strong choice for busy professionals who want reliable results with a once-weekly injection they can work into their schedule.
Best for: Frequent snacking · Appetite between meals · Demanding schedules with no time for structured exercise
Pricing
Wegovy
Semaglutide · GLP-1 · Once Weekly
A once-weekly GLP-1 injection with a long track record of safety and effectiveness. Slightly milder than tirzepatide products for some patients, but still highly effective for appetite control and sustained weight loss. A good starting point for first-time GLP-1 users.
Best for: Hunger between meals · Portion control difficulty · Patients new to injectable weight loss treatment
Pricing (4 weeks)
Oral Medications
Rybelsus
Oral Semaglutide · GLP-1 · Daily Tablet
The only oral GLP-1 medication we offer. Taken as a single tablet every morning, it is ideal for frequent travelers, people with injection anxiety, or patients who simply prefer pills over needles. Effective for moderate appetite reduction and gradual, sustained weight loss.
Best for: Injection phobia · Frequent travel · First-time patients · Mild to moderate weight loss goals
Pricing (30 tablets)

Frequently Asked
Questions from our international patients
Do I need to speak Japanese to visit the clinic?
No. Consultations are conducted fully in English. All patient materials can be provided in English as well.
Can I get a prescription on my first visit?
Yes. If you are eligible after your consultation, a prescription can be issued and medication dispensed on the same day.
I am only in Japan for a short time. Can I still receive treatment?
Yes. We can prescribe for short-term stays. Please mention your situation during the consultation and we will advise on the most suitable plan for your time in Japan.
Is health insurance accepted?
These treatments are self-pay (自由診療) and are not covered by Japanese public health insurance. We accept payment by cash or card.
How soon will I start seeing results?
Most patients notice reduced appetite within the first 1–2 weeks. Visible weight loss typically begins within the first month. Individual results vary depending on medication type, dose, and lifestyle.
Can you prescribe combination therapy?
Yes. We frequently combine medications such as GLP-1 injections with Metformin, Acarbose, or Lusefi when a single medication is not enough to achieve the desired result.
